they are a pretty lizard but i would wait until they are commonly bred and tame. go with the long tailed beauts.

Im getting a morrocan female for my mali male. closely related and both will do fine in captivity seeing as they were born into it and all lol

these most likely will not ever really come down in price. i was talking to Doug at Deer Fern Farms a few months ago and he said he thinks the price on all uros will be going up within the next few years. this is due to all of the countries closing there borders and not letting some speices out anymore. so i doubt they will be coming down in price anytime soon. and if the big breeders are not working with the them, ie. Doug at Deer Fern or Lindsay Pike at urotopia, then i dont see these becoming a very easy speices to come by.

i also would not mix a morocan and a mali. just because they are closely related doesnt mean they should be house together. get another mali if you want a second.

uros are awesome to look at, but terrible to care for since they have terrible tempers and aren't very handle-able. If you've had other lizards, you know. If not, be careful!!

this is not true at all. ive had many uros over the years and i have never had a mean one. all of mine were big babies lol even my friends were. uros are very laid back once they settle in. every uro i have ever come accross was a blast to deal with. very calm and very handleable(sp?). i highly recommend them to beginner hobbiests.
