Veija zonatus or vieja sysnpilum

Hello fishkeppers,

I want to know the name of below fishes. Who have knowledge on veija types. Please mention the name of these fishes

Some may think its just semantics, but here are some Vieja to compare
DNA testing revealed that Vieja syspillum and V melanurum were the same species, (simply color varients of the other), the name synspillum (1935) was discarded in favor of the earlier scientific description, melanauum (1862).
Here is a young Vieja melanurum.

At a young age they all look very similar.

And with everyone and their 2nd cousin producing hybrid muttts these days, it may be impossible to tonever get at true ID

Pics are not great tbh, and fish may not be fully colored up. Young vieja can be hard to tell the difference between species. Top fish with the strong black bar could be Zonatum. Bottom one I see red, green, could be bifasciata.
