the adults are around 24" and approx 8-10lb
the 6 day old fry are this big...lol
good to see them breed.... only a few of us hobbyist could breed some fish like this.

I only removed 20 or so...left the rest get eaten due to the male being a ba$tard and trying to break my fingers..lol They will breed again in approx 4 weeks..next time I will remove the rock to a tank to hatch them out under more controlled circumstances....I really wasnt too hip on raising all these orino fry as I am working with a few pairs of azuls right now...once they get down I will be setting up alot of grow out tanks as they are more worth the effort....although with the venz orinos it will be worth putting some out there as there are very few "mean green" venz orinos....jeff rapps has offered to spread them out a bit if I need some shipped out... since he sold me the two parents back when the venz batch of 2" babies came in approx 3 1/2 years ago I figured it would only be right to let him handle some, but thats not untill they get some size...these parents have come a long way from those 2" babies and it is nice to see them breed finally.

I agree with Rich, you are dedicated. 
Please keep me in mind when the next batch are ready, and definately count me in for some zulies.
you're are really dedicated, man..awesome and great job..keep update and hopefully the new generation having their own generation..
