Vieja Argentea

What is the minimum tank size for one of these fish. I have been lookin at them for a while and really want one.

for a single male id say you should be fine in a tank about 75g (48x18x18) but preferably a 90 (48x18x24), i cant stand tanks that are only 18" tall if the tank is big.

75g are 21" tall and would be fine for an argentea

Id go for somthing that has at least 18" width an a length of 4'.

No 125 MINIMUM. With a fish that can DWARF Parachomis you need a 125 for them. 75 is too small. They get 16" long and about 10"+ deep. They get HUGE so watch out.

I agree......24" wide would be my life suggestion for most vieja....
