I did it with a fold up kids pool and I was a little worried about the chemicals on the liner but before I put any of my fish in it I filled it and dumped a s*** load of salt in it and scrubed the whole liner then dumped it and refilled it and my rays are doing great in there so I wouldn't worrie to much about it, I say go for it.:D

8.33 Is the weight of water per gallon. 10 pounds is the accepted wieght including the glass of an aquarium. So a 200 gallon aquarium is 2000lbs

Your right. :)

I use these types of pools all the time. You can order liners from various above ground pool suppliers that are free of fungicides. Most of the department store pools I've seen offer pools with 100% virgin vinyl liners(no fungicides). I would highly recommend placing a second liner underneath, preferably a pond liner of 45 mil. Those pool liners are 20 or 10 mil and will puncture easier than a 45 mil pond liner. I've also noticed that the pool liners become brittle and start to tear after a year and a half to two years. This may be because I am using saltwater and/or that they are mostly outside in the sun. Just be aware that you may need to replace a pool liner after a year or two.

its sound a bit of work of washing liner + adding liner... ill think about it.. in the mean time i think my 12" ID shark is happy in the 90G
