Looking to see if anyone has a picture and/or information on the Red Terror Festae. I bought 4 of them as fry from a local guy. And my wife and I love them. But for Tank situations. I was wanding what they look like or how big they may get at 1 year of age. And even what they look like at that age.

Any info and pictures would be appreciated. Thank you.

OMG Thank you all so much. Im going to double check my facebook to verify the month the guy told me they hatched. I think mine hatched in November or december. But after seeing the pictures that you all shared with me. Im so appreciated of you all doing that. I cant weight till they get that older. I started them on that "First Bites" powder stuff and baby brine shrimp. And now they are managing full size frozen Brine Shrimp and I crush different types of flake food in my hand and pinch it and dunk my finger just below the water level and the One Rena XP4 I have filtering there 125g tank. Blows the flake food over to the right side of the tank ware I also have java moss and Amazon sward and Java furns.

Its a long story but right now I have 4 festae fry and they are sharing the 125g aquarium with like 165-22 Kribensis fry. Im at a cross roads on weather to transfer the 4 F-1 festae fry I have to our 90g aquarium we just freed up. Or keeping them in the 125g tank seeing as how they will grow to a nice size within the next 10 months. One lps told me by leaving them in the 125g tank. Its that much less stress they will ever have in there life and may be more personable vs being moved to a 90g tank to grow out of and then into the 125g again.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks or just "raising" information you can share to ensure our festae are Happy? And seeing as how they are in a 125g tank. Do I need to do 50% water changes to help them grow faster? Or should I weight till the nitrAte get above 5.0? THank you all for the pictures.

In a 125 it would be great low stress 50% weekly water changes should be fine just feed them well and a divers diet . I was feeding a mix of things twice a day .black worm ,blood worms ,cichlid gold , brine shrimp set at 79-80 dagrees a little salt and let simmer for 11 months and bam 5-8 inch festea.

Around 4 inchs u might have to make more hiding spots or remove one or two cause of aggression.
