Jose, as usual, great insight and even better thread. I love the KISS principle. I had a couple questions after going through everything. How fast does the float valve fill up the ~11 gallons? What diameter is the tubing? I don't have chloromine so I'm just thinking about buying a whole house chlorine/sediment filter at Home Depot and running the water through that to the float valve. Do you think it's worth raising the intake of the outbound pump above the sump pump? My thought is that if something screws up with the timer or the float valve sticks closed the sump cant run dry. I have a basement sump and the hot/cold water access is literally a few feet from the tank. Do you think it makes sense to tap into both and use ball valves to get the temperature as close as possible. Like you said earlier, I don't think changing this amount of water will adversely affect the temp but if I can easily do it I'm thinking it may make sense.
