Keep changing water. Get that new filter running asap. Put some media from your existing filter in the new filter to help it cycle faster.

I wouldnt move it to a smaller tank because of the stress from the move and smaller tank size. Tough decison to make.

Will do my friend! I got ceramic bio media which I did not have before, I always just used the bio floss that came with the filter originally, so like you said fingers crossed, thanks again!

seachem matrix is useful and speeds up the bio bacteria ive noticed.
