wepons collections: real or rep... show what u got?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I like the middle pic the most.
The last pic is pretty cool too, did you paint the whole glock?

The .50 rifle is cool, but the paint job is just a bit much for my taste.
How much do you pay for ammo for that beast?
I was at cabelas and they had one in a display case, I wouldnt mind owning one if I could have it for free, and not have to worry about the ammunition costs!

Whoa cool! That choke rocks! how tight of a spray pattern can it go down to on a 12 g with 00 buck? Major predatory mammal issues here! Does it affect distance when set for a tighter pattern? Longer?

Now play nice boys. My gun got insulted and I didn't get upset even tho I think it is purty.
Pacu, I LOVE your collection. My only concern is that they are not locked up. I have a whole wall of safes for mine. Are they in a secure basement or something?(Just curious) I have video cameras and alarm systems. So you guard that end of the states and I got the central part covered. I have 400 pounds of buffalo in my freezer. And a whole heap of koi if times get desperate.
Polypterus - we will be at the Gibrater gun show next week in Mt.Clemens if you are in the area.
I think this is great and guns can be fun. 'Fake' or real.
Do you like these any better?

I don't have my arms collection locked up no, ammo for most of them are locked up but other than that my doors locked and I live in the middle of nowhere.....hehe

I have only had this collection in my possession for about 2 1/2 months or so,and havn't even had much time to figure out how I can secure them but still have them on display the way I would like to and the way they always have been.

We seriously need to get an MFK range meet together, if we could get just 4-5 of us that would be worth it to me...something to consider...maybe it a feasible idea maybe not I don't know....

Picked this up last night, M14A...almost went well over my budget and picked up a WASR-10 and a CETME but theres just other things I (my fish esp.) need right now

Wanted it to be black but that can be taken care of in the future....

Oh and airsoft is for teh ***s.

You guys try to make your guns look and feel as realistic as possible but you shove 300+ rounds in the magazine. Be real and just do 30 or what ever the actual gun holds!

I'm with you on this JD7.62 I do not get this Airsoft craze nor these people that like to run around and shoot people "safely".. It is stupid and irresponsible.

In my day (In my culture) we where taught and trained to treat firearms as the tools they where designed to do. They are made to kill and you do not employ them on another living creature (human or otherwise) unless it is your intention to kill it. All other actions involving firearms (Target shooting, plinking, etc) where to hone your skills in the recognition of using them appropriately and correctly when employed for there purpose.

Shooting someone for fun and games is just not something I would call "fun" for more than one reason.

I really do not get this statement:
" I'M SORRY IF I LIKE MILITARY STRATEGY GAMING, AND DO NOT FEEL LIKE BEING KILLED IN COMBAT. "

Do not even try to equate your little plastic pellet games to anything close to real war. You are not doing anything useful to training nor are you learning anything with these plastic pellet matches. There is no military strategy going on here. Just a bunch of Soldat wannabes running around with toy guns "playing war". If you really do not like the idea of being killed in Combat then do not try to play and pretend Combat and think you have anything realistic to say about it. Some of us have put ourselves on the line in the real world with real bullets, your little games are really lame IMO... It is a Stupid precedent to think you do not die at the hands of an advisory IMO..

That said... Airsoft weapons do have a useful function and that is in familiarization with handling techniques. I have an Airsoft AK I use frequently for this when running through handling and maneuver routines. I also use an airsoft SVD to get the few people I allow to use mine to train a bit before I give them my real one for practice or use. I use it as a training aid to familiarize them with the PSO-1 scope and how the weapon handles.

Whilst you do make some good points poly, i cant fully agree with you, i do play airsoft but, i dont know too much about the scene in usa. here in the uk its dominated by both serving and ex military, special forces and police personal. and is all taken very seriously. it is used as a training tools by both of uk and american military and police units. and does serve its purpose.... there is simply very few ways you can constantly train for the type of constant speed and aggression you need to successfully clear a building or town with out the use of a non-lethal approach. CQB and FIBUA sites provide such s better enviroment for positive use of airsoft than woodland. u dont get kids there as a rule or newbies and the normally dont have hire guns at these sites... if taken seriously with a professional approach airsoft really can work and be both a practical training tool and fun. The uk's best airsoft games and training programs are run buy 4 ex sas personal from various periods and conflicts who strive to take things as serious as they were trained... just my two pents thats like $200 these days.... lol

We do not buy and sell guns at the show. All we do is display the custom guns we do. The last pics of guns I posted were not painted, they are chrome plated. We do a lot of customizing and repair work (guys go shooting/hunting and leave their guns uncleaned or laying in a semi damp case where they rust to hell) And since they have to be re-blued or nickel/chromed anyway, why not double plate with graffics? I have one with blued paw prints on a chrome barrel. The stock is painted with tigers.
We do all of magna-ports plating work. (If you know guns - you know them) If you go to the show, the fat guy who looks like kenny rogers is hubby. The short fat lady in a flower skirt would be me.
I also don't get the airsoft guns. They are very popular, but if I have to pull a gun, it's not gonna be to play....
