If it is a black mark, then you got yourself a marbled convict. the marbeling is not strong, but if you breed it to a black female convict with pink gene, its has been said that you should get some fancy marbled convicts.
I've considered breeding them but not sure I want the headache of taking out fry or the added aggression. Thats why I picked out the males. If I decide to breed them what do you suggest I do with the other convicts and how many females would I need to add to the tank?

When introducing the female, if she wants to breed, she will most likely choose the biggest and best male...which I assume would be the male you posted. If there is a bigger male, then take that male out and make sure the male you want to breed has control of the tank. From here, the female would most likely choose that big male and breed with him.
