Not fine cuisine but, I had a yen for some comfort food. I enjoyed an Italian sausage and kielbasa with sautéed peppers (green, yellow, orange, and red), onions (Vidalia), and mushrooms (shiitake). Topped with Slawsa. Good eats.
We were going to wait for Xmas but, decided to make this now. We just finished making a very dense peach-topped NY cheese cake. It's pure delicious heaven.
We ate early yesterday and I got hangry about 2AM. I sliced up some leftover Italian sausage and diced up some leftover peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Sauteed them in some olive oil/butter and added our homemade marinara. Then, mixed in some leftover rotelli pasta and sautéed it all on high heat until the marinara soaked into the pasta. YUM!!!
Too cold to play outside today so, we decided to binge-watch some DVDs. For snacks, I made some spinach, artichoke, and gouda dip. We ate it with some warm home-made tortilla chips.
