So we like to try and use all parts of the animals that we have or have used and we don’t like to throw things away that can add flavour….so I’m trying something old and something new today.
the old: When we have chick, turkey, or duck for dinner we keep the carcass and freeze them for bird soup. I say bird soup bc I use all the carcass of all the birds in the same broth.
the new: we have been keeping rib bones and lamb bones along with old veggies that are about to go bad, when we have corn on the cob I have been keeping the cobs….today I threw it all in a pot with some spices and I’m hoping to come up with some kind of bone, beef/lamb broth. It’s made of literally garbage items that would normally be thrown out….I’ll keep you posted on the taste once it’s done ? it might taste like garbage
