Wasn't doubting you, as a matter of fact, I doubted myself so went to Wiki and learned I was wrong, and already owned up to that...
Wasn't trying to prove you wrong, just wanted others reading this to be informed and get a glimpse of what I'm talking about....in regards to the different brands availabe today. FYI, they all taste a little different, from the ones I have tried.
 
siracha is a good hot sauce but the heat dies down after you have it a few times. When I first tried it I put the smallest amount on my food and thought it was very hot, now I pour it out all over everything and hardly taste it. Still has a great taste though
 
Trust me, I will try any foods, including hot sauces, that I get a chance to do so. I am a culinary adventurer.
I'm Vietnamese and have been consuming Huy Fong sriracha for decades....well before the recent American trend

Here are just a few of the other makers out there, but Huy Fong is the original.

I certainly didn't make this meal, but I am serving it up and it is a permanent fixture on the menu in our house these days... BOOBY JUICE! This is my newest monster, now just over 2 months old (partially explaining my extended absence from MFK), and he has a special message he wanted to share with y'all!

And don't worry, he already has his own fish tank... Full of water and fish to look at, not that I keep my son in a glass box...
