Recently I have been listening to a lot of Alternative Metal. Melodic instrumental.
Torben Enevoldsen. Helix Nebula, and Christian Metzler.
Also on the other end of the spectrum,
The Dead South. It's Bluegrass. But not your grandparents Bluegrass.

Word. Im getting amped up to see koorpiklaani and eluveitie next month in baltimore. But also have been jamming some bluegrass inspired by my coworkers.

My uncle was a huge country music fan. Late 60s and early 70s. His Birthday just came up. I have been listening to some of his favorite stuff over the last couple of days. Merle Haggard is probably my favorite of them. Can't stomach the pop country out now though.
