I heard Green Day is playing at the Padres baseball stadium with 70 other bands of such in August in a night called “emo night”. It’s 18 plus, so I can’t go, which is killing me.

I enjoy Green Day, especially their first 5 or so albums (1,039, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod) but their last album was just pure garbage IMO, so sort of a turn-off

I just feel like they're sorta washed-up now

Whitechapel has become a favorite of mine with their last 2 albums.

One of my old buddies used to hang with whitechapel, introduced me to them at summer slaughter 08 in richmond. Good times, good dudes.

I’ve heard a few songs on the radio, they were decent enough but didn’t really stand out as something great. I can’t actually remember what they sounded like which shows they didn’t make much of an impression.
