What eel is this?

The G. Poly is the only moray that can truly live in freshwater for its entire life. All other morays require brackish or marine conditions as they age. Otherwise, they tend to become ill and die. I'm not sure what type you have pictured, but it's definitely not a G. Poly.

I think it's Gymnothorax Tile. I have a fish book (it's labeled something like 'freshwater moray eel') and it looks a lot like that. I'd listen to those people who said it needs brackish water; I've never used brackish before, so I can't help you there. Best of luck!
