My smallest carpintis has this all over its body, does this look like lymphocystis or anything else? If so I heard it’s viral and may go away on its own? I’m guessing it may come from stress from moving tanks and it’s larger tank mates?

You'll be able to tell if it's lymphocystis if you look closely at it. Should look like a cluster of bubbles. If not I'd be inclined to assume it's something fungal.

If it is lymphocystis, it does go away on its own, but it takes awhile. My umbee had lymphocystis when I first got her. Took about 6 months for it to finally subside. Came back like 3 times. Nothing to worry about though, just a bit unsightly. I'd only be worried if it were around the gills or mouth, as at that point it becomes a matter of the fish potentially suffocating.

If it's in random clumps like that, especially on the fins, it isn't wounds. If it's fungal treat with methylene blue.

Is it getting nipped by tankmates. The wounds could be getting infected. Noticed a starry night in the photo. Mine killed many tankmates before I gave up on tankmates.

Wounds from tank mates wouldn't be peppered randomly like that. They start at the edges of the fins and work their way in. Every now and then they'll take nips at the face but not like what the fish in the picture has.

I've had fungus start at site of wound and then pop around the fish at areas with a minor scratch. Would not clear in main tank with mods. When moved to a hospital tank same meds worked. I think the fish couldn't heal with the stress level.
