Had lots of fish, from auratus (nasty little devil) to red devils to jags, but I have never kept a fish nastier than a Labeo chrysophekadion. This guy is by far the meanest fish Ive ever had, loves to throw his weight and size around, gets consiterably nastier when either hungery or around feeding time. So far Ive yet to keep a cichlid or any other fish who can hold its own against this beast. I suppose because of its size and teeth, a dovii could probably maybe "take him", but teeth aside I dont think Ive ever even come across a dovii with the desire to hurt other fish like this guy.

Sooty and barcoo grunters. but wen i used to keep "sharks" my Labeo was a nasty mofo as well. a breeding gourami nipped at it once so the shark chase it till it died. and then ate it. it also smashed oscars and RD's. but ended up with that eye disease when they like stick out and it died.

My RD is the meanest I've ever had, that's why she's still living. Back when I first got her she was 2" and in a put in a 55g grow out (while I went to college) with my mother's 2 GTs, a JD, and a breeding pair of cons. All were killed in a few days except the JD. The JD and the RD fought until I got back and moved her into her 20L at 3.5". The JD died later of infections as the RD returned to normal.

I think most will reply with a red devil/midas. These are mean SOB when it comes to cleaning their tank, and the few lucky one's like myself have cuts and scrapes caused by their nasty bites to prove it.:D

btw, this thread reminds me of the one's created by that one guy JAE21. . . :uhoh:

My 8" inch male Amphilophus xiloaensis killed his 6" female and literally ate a 10" jaguar alive. I had a 7" dovii (also male) that had seven murders before I sold it. Both fish constantly harass their tankmates regardless of size or species until they kill them.

oops I thought I was in general discussion. :D

I would say right now my jag but I think the flowerhorn will soon surpass him.

I also would say a Black Shark. I had an 11" for a while it seemed to torment the other fish it was with just for sport.
