We have several species of African cichlids which typrs can cross breed. For example can haplichromis species cross with peacocks.

Too many to list. And yes, certain haplochromis species can cross with aulonocaras.

The only two very good African hybrid are OB peacocks and hybrid tilapias.

nowadays a lot of these "assorted africans" are just hybrids of the common mbuna species...I hope the OP isn't intentionally trying to get hybrids though

Hopefully, the OP is trying to find out what species not to mix together to prevent hybridization.

My reason for asking is that we have some blue peacocks I can not identify. It is my thought they are a peacock electric blue hap cross. We also recently got some yellow labs that look off. The males have a black tone in their face and barring on the body. The only hybrids we want to breed intentionaly are red texas and
