The biggest fish i ever caught was a striper 23 inches forgot how any lbs and the best fish tasting has got the be striper/sea bass/or bass ;D!!

30 pound common carp. I was fishing for smallies in the fall at lake michigan with 4" golden roaches. 6 lb test. Bent my net handle getting it out of the water. Apparently carp do prey on smaller fishies sometimes.
