I caught a four ft dorado in cuba but the tastiest was a grouper off the reef.

That depends. In terms of overall body mass, I've caught a Clearnose Skate that was around two and a half feet long in Montauk, and my longest fish was an Eel that was about the size of my arm, caught in a little brook no less.
