I dont think you do somehow!

You know, this thread REEKS of troll. I'd say ban him. That's just my sincere opinion. Also frigging hell, by the time you're '18 and going into college' you should 1. know how to use proper spelling and grammar and 2. not be so stupid as to cram over three hundred bullheads in a tank. Personally I think you are lying. There is no WAY you are 18 years old. Either that or you are a troll.

I don't know if this guy is fro real of not but if you really want to keep baby fish, or really any fish at all you have to plan ahead. Baby fish eat tiny animals, i culture Daphnia magna, they are easy to grow and all fish eat them, from baby pickerel to baby paddlefish everything eats daphnia.

Tiny pellets like hikari micro pellets are good too for some fishes. you made some really amateurish mistakes, but we all have at one time or another. if you plant o do this again plan ahead, grow daphnia, sponge filters can be used to transfer a working bio filter from one tank to another. outside filters can be fitted with a sponge prefilter to keep tiny fish from being swept up.

Lots of help here if you want it, this forum has some really knowledgeable people, use the expertise of the members to try and not make the same mistakes and to avoid making them again. As for how old you are, that is irrelevant, read books on fish keeping written by people who do have the expertise. many people here have been keeping fish for 40 or more years, oh how I wish i had access to such a knowledge base when I started out at 8 years old...

GREAT ADVICE!

calm down. whats done is done nobody can do anything about it now. im not stupid either. i knew that i took a risk and i found out the result of my risk from experiance this time. im not going to do it again to fish that are that small.
Lol so I just happened upon this post while doing research for one of my ecological studies. I know that this was almost 9 years ago so I'm hoping you still arent as f***ing retarded as you used to be but upon reading this thread, I just couldn't help but to actually SIGN UP for an account so that I can tell you how stupid this is. When you take 300 baby fish out of a NEIGHBORHOOD POND, you are altering the ENTIRE ecosystem. The organisms that would once be eating those 300 baby brown bullheads would now have a shortage in prey and many would starve. When you take away so many individuals of a species close to the bottom of the food chain, you have literally created a disaster for EVERY species above it. You think you have killed only 300 baby fish but in reality, you could possibly have even cause the LOCAL EXTINCTION of fish species in your neighborhood pond. You have definitely killed off more than just 300 fish. Moral, don't be stupid and don't be greedy. Thats a lesson for everyone reading this.
