What to put in exo terra 18x18x24?

I always thought GTPs, ETBs etccc needed larger tanks? Do they ever stretch out other than feeding time? Lets say i kept it as a display animal, how do you provide enrichment?

I think a leachie is for sure going in one tank. Maybe nu ami x nu ana. Ive seen a few local breeders of this type.

No, they don't need too much space; they tend to stay coiled most of the time & might not even uncoil when you take them out of the cage. You could provide enrichment by feeding a variety of prey and changing up the perches every now & then.

In an 18x18x24 you could probably get away with a Male green tree python for a long time. It's not always the case as there are always variations to almost everything, but if you go with a mainland locality (look into Sorong or Jayapura, they are beautiful) they seem to stay a bit smaller on average. In contrast if you were to go with a Biak female, you will have a tiny cage sooner than later.

In an exo terra cage you will most likely have to cover a part of the top ventilation to remain some humidity in, but don't cover the whole thing because you will want the cage to dry out if you spray it (some keepers don't though, except during shed cycles).

I have a 2 year old boy myself that I got recently after years of research and he is without fail, always stretched out after lights out roaming around. If you want to go this route and provide a good cage - install 3 perches at different heights and also put some plant coverage in there (fake pothos work quite well). Right now mine is still in quarantine tub (23x16x13) and he has more than enough space. He will be moving into a 36x24x24 soon, but I expect mine to get bigger than most males (Jade blood).

Forgot to mention, why not some Uroplatus? Except for the Giant kind you should be able to house one to a trio in one of those cages depending on what kind you go with.
