If you're not going to remove it why not use 2-part epoxy?

How much bigger is the hole that you have the pvc going through?

not to much bigger.
built it a year ago so cant say for sure.
1/8 at the most,im not to sloppy when building :D
and when i cut the liner i cut an x in it then folded the flaps in then glued it to the wood then shoved the pvc through then globbed on liquid nail on both sides, pretty eh? lol

The schedule 80 that you found earlier will work with schedule 40 pipe. the outside diamater is the same it is the inside diamter that is different. You may also try using some galvnized threded pipe that is 4 inches long when you tighten down the coulpings on each side it should stop up the hole for the most part then you can use some slicone to seal it the rest of the way just make sure it is uv resistant. then thread in pvc adapters to the couplings.

You could also thread schedule 80 pvc if you did not want to use metal

so i couldnt find a flange locally.
my pops had some clear liquid nail that is waterproof.
so i went to lowes to get some for a quick fix and found this stuff.
loctite plumber and marine.
says good for repairs and sealing, semi flexible good for rubber, vinyl, pvc and more.
if the regular liquid nail held for a year, this should do another year. :D
almost got loctite epoxy but it dries hard and can crack again easy.
thanks for all the help.i will someday find some flanges.
i also need to do this twice on my 480g pond.

that is some good stuff, took about 10 min to get off my hands.
bad news is screwed it up and cant finish. :(
im going to use 2 couplings and a small piece of pvc to "pinch" the wall.
pvc glue all the couplings but the ones i want to be able to remove.
glob on the loctite then slip in the pvc then glob on loctite around the couplings.
well when i went to put the last coupling on it stopped about 1/8" from the wall.
"the pvc glue dried that quick"
so i had to cut it all off the pond and have to wait till tomorrow to get more couplings.

heres pics of the old liquid nail.it was like bubble gum.pulled the pvc right out.
cleaned it,then let it dry out a bit then glued the liner to wood, then the mess up.

you can see theres algae growing where its been leaking in one pic.lol
