What type of food do you feed your flowerhorn?

The idea is to give them as many foods as you can. Sticking to only one food does not help it. Chopped earthworms, tubifex worms, bloodworms, daphnia, mosquito larva, shrimps and others can be used. Be sure to feed the fish each food once or twice a week only to prevent digestive upset.

good advice Lupin. one thing i must add. feeding Organic and non-organic foods is great for FHs. however in my experience feeding these at same times, may cause digestion to be wacky. but like lupin said, try giving them the organic stuff a couple times a week. wile still feeding your pellets everyday (except for days u feed organic foods), as a staple.

I feed mine with Chingmix SP50 headbooster, Ocean Free everred, Frozen bloodworms, dried Krill, fresh shrimps, feeder fish, gut-loaded superworm.
Staple diet of pellets everyday.Twice a week for bloodworms, dried krill and shrimps. Then sparingly on superworm and feeder fish...

I feed mine Cichlid Gold, shrimp pellets, freeze dried krill and some flake food occasionally.

i feed my FH hikari bio gold, frozen blood worms, beef heart and Alife pellets, shrimp pellets and market shrimp.:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
