As above, im after a knife fish but unsure of what to get..
i have a 3ft tank, approx 120 litres..can anyone point me in any direction please?
also would appreciate some photos if possibel..Thanks
IMO, african clown knives are my fav.
i have one and he isn't shy and doesnt hide when you never see him like black ghost knives.
african clown knives have a great personality when adapted to their tank, tankmates, and owner.
One of the best fish i dont regret buying!
- And mine is camera friendly
^^Remember, this is for a 30-Gallon tank. A CK would be way too large for the tank in the long-run, and a BGK could use more space as well.
From what has been said above, looks like an
African Knife (Xenomystus nigri)
Centipede Knife (Steatogenys duidae)
or a Brown Ghost Knife (Apteronotus leptorhynchus)
would work, IMO. All get to around 8", which isn't too bad for the tank-size given.
