currently i try to collect all the tank setup experience for you all, to build a best tank for flowerhorn? thank you all

A setup for a flowerhorn is quite basic.Use stones other than black. Its better you go with white or brown as other bright colours may give them a lot of stress making them suspectible to disease.Keep a bright wallpaper(blue or green works best). And make your tank well lighted(but remember to keep min 6 hrs off for their sleep)
all these setup will help to improve your fh colours and pearls.Provide a heater and maintain at 27 degrees.HAPPY FISHING

keep the flowerhorn in a bright environment with color gravel and t-5 light, with blue background. try not to get any dark color gravel or rocks because it will adjust to that color and make your flowerhorn look very dark and not show its full colors. i have my heater on 79-80 its doing great. make sure you feed it once or twice a day or more if you want it to grow faster. (i find it wrong but it cant be helped i spoil my fh) also try color enhancing foods such as hikari brands or grand sumo (its kinda pricy). and if the parents have great color and big hump on the head the it will eventually grow one. hope it helps. and give it some bloodworms once in a while for treat. hope it helps. and do not feed it cockroach because it will eat anything you give it. try to stay off goldfishes for precaution.

first of all the bigger the better, the deeper as well, a 90 is perfect imo, double strip, with a pink and a daylight, blue or coral background, 82-85 F, little bit of gravel.
