I'm just getting into the hobby, but I know it's a lot of fish keepers who've been doing this for decades and have encountered some aggressive fish. If you are, or have had an fish that's really aggressive who's the worst? Let's start to talk. Post pics too if you have them!

I've had a few aggressive fish over the years but I think the six inch gold wolffish that I had was the grand champion. The little cuss would constantly attack and harass other fish until they were either dead or mercifully evacuated.

I feel sad for it's tank mates who had to go through that. But I mean wolf fish says it all....

Well....I didn't allow the gold wolf to kill any other fish and I wound up selling it after just three days of it being alone and me realising that it wouldn't tolerate any other fish in the tank.....and the red wolf fish that I also had never so much as looked at another fish....so,so much for the wolf name.

Yeah, it must have just been that Gold Wolffish in particular. At least, no other tank-mates were harmed.

To this day I have never bought another gold wolf to try out....not that they are readily available.

Banded leporinus. Some people get lucky, but all of mine have been total psychos. They either claim a territory and attack anything near them or claim the whole tank and everything is fair game. Also, most of my other aggressive fish kill for food or territory. I think Leps might just kill for sport.

Mine is pretty tame in comparison but either my green Severum or fire mouth, both are only what you’d consider barely aggressive. They aren’t peaceful enough to coexist with tetras but won’t kill another fish, they’re just pushy and like their space.
