I think Carachs did bite on by slice a flesh out thanks to the sharp edges on teeth...easily to slice a flesh and it can causes massive blood loss that way. This predator was evolved to hunting large animals. However there are zero evidence that Carachs hammered on a sauropod like a smilidon does.
