I'm pretty sure there are, there's glow pigs/rabbits/pretty sure cats
This is one of those bits of data that once learned, can't be unlearned...and always make me wish I hadn't learned them. :(

To quote the immortal Bob Seger: "...wish I didn't know now...what I didn't know then..."

This is something the greatest philosophers of our time have argued over and over...
Absolutely. Philosophers are just failed scientists; unlike actual scientists, though, they are unable to actually prove or disprove their own theories...which are, after all, merely opinions :)...so they can continue to endlessly debate the relative merits of their proclamations vs. those of their competitors. The really good ones manage to continue these essentially unwinnable debates long after they are dead. It's a gift...

Just imagine: what if Plato, Aristotle and the rest of the OG had access to the internet and social media. What a world this would be... :WHOA:

I'm a bit late on this topic. All I want to say is "No" to commercial hybridization and gene splicing.

The "Glow Dog" post was one of the funniest replies I've ever read.
Awesome.

The best reason for doing something is always, "because we can". 😉

I really hope this is one of those cases where the written word doesn't capture the true intent of a sarcastic or humorous statement. :(

Haven't been online recently to see this response and "defend" myself. Most certainly it was intended as sarcasm on my part. "Because we can", in my opinion, is about the worst reason to plunge ahead into new, especially technology, territory. That goes for AI, manipulating the weather, introducing a new non-native species to control another invasive species, and countless other ways that humankind attempts to conform the natural world to its liking or whim.
