I used to keep meeki and pasionis together but with swordtails. They are a nice combination and worked well together.

Yes me too! They are often found in the same locations. I have a male meeki and a male passionis, but it would be much better if I had groups of each.

I would love to set up a community of smaller, less aggressive cichlids.
