So which is more dangerous to humans? The Alligator Gar or the Green Moray Eel (I picked the Green Moray Eel because it is the largest Moray that is commonly kept as a pet). Thanks :)

What a bizarre question.

Well I heard if Moray Eel bite you, the only way to get them off is to cut their head off, they will never let go and their bites infect you and it can break your bones. If Gars are worse than that, that makes my balls stick together. What about Arapaima Gigas? Gar is number 1, Moray is number 2 (so far), where does Gigas come in?

have you seen how big aligator gars can get ? tehy get over 200+ pounds I think the record is 270 or so ... imagine swiming in teh river and have one of those swimming hard as it can and ram ya with its snout ..... lights out not to meantion the size of their teeth when they get that big ..... I am not sure about the gigas but I am sure if it wanted to hurt you it could thats for sure

I say if you're in freshwater, the gar...in the ocean, the eel. If you were in a lake a green moray wouldn't bother you, it would be too busy dying LOL.

My LFS has a green moray, damn thing is almost as thick as my thigh.

Arapaimas don't have teeth... the only thing they can do is smack you somehow and knock you out and then drown. They just don't eat people.
