Which is more harmful to the human life: Alligator Gar or Green Moray Eel?

I'd be more afraid of the eel. I've been bitten by smaller gator gar fishing a few times getting them off the freakin boat, didn't feel good at all, lots of blood. Lacerations weren't too deep.

The eel would have taken my hand off.

It can reach lengths of up to 13ft long and 3-4 feet in girth. A whole 60- 80 pounds. This is recorded.

Javanicus gets to about 10 feet max, according to FB; you're probably confusing it with the giant slender moray (Strophidon sathete) which gets longer but isn't nearly as beefy. The girth is way off too, the biggest they get in that respect is under 2 feet, or about as big around as an average man's waist.

Sights have said morays in deep waters have been seen up to 20ft capable of swallowing multiple divers at once.

Also most of the morays have not yet even been discovered.

This type of moray can be seen most often on the sci fi channel.

Oh, I see what you mean now. I agree with what MGK said. But I guess it depends on how many gars we're talking about and the dimensions of the pond. If the pond was 20'x20' and there were 5 gars, I'd put the multi-gar pond below the single eel pond on the list. But if the pond had the same dimensions with 20 gars, I'd put the multi-gar pond above the single eel. Also, if the single eel and multi-gar pond were both 10'x10', and there were 5 gars, I'd put the eel pond above the gars due to the smaller amount of space to get away from the eel's territory.

so, knowing that 1 gator gar do not attack people 2 morays have without provecation attacked people and 3 gator gar have never attacked people.
