I know that columbian shark catfish are a brackish-marine species and I was wondering what other catfish will tolerate salinity.
Many catfish species must come into contact with salinity in the wild and there must be more than just shark catfish surely?
as far as I know the following species can tolerate some salinity

Pangasius cats
Certain banjo cats
Ompok
channel cats

How about sun catfish? I'm in the process of planning my brackish 225 gallon tank 3' wide so was wondering if there was any other cats that could join in!

Mystus gulio is a brackish species, its natural habitat are coastal mangrove swamps.
They are rarely seen in the hobby though.

How big do asian red tails get?

shark catfish do live upto full marine in the wild yes, but in the aquarium as long as they are at mid level brackish or higher they will live a happy life as long as there is a moderate amount of salt in their aquarium.

If anyone has pics of brackish cats feel free to post yours!

Yeah I had a feeling asian red tails would be too much. I don't know a whole lot about catfish so sorry if I come across as a complete dumbass.

So slow302stang if you was setting up a 225g brackish set up with larger fish (no smallys) any catfish you would recomend besides the columbian sharks?

I really don't know anything about brackish Catfish. My current Catfish are. ; brownbullhead redtail Catfish, 2 channel cats and a redtail hybrid shovel nose. IV owned a few upside down cats there neat but again I don't think they will tollerate any salts. Most non scale fish can't
