Nerite snails aren't hermaphrodites so if you're patient it would be possible to choose only males for an aquarium. People claim to be able to sex them from extra skin on males and the size of females. Which buettikoferi do you have? polypterus, pelmatochomis or something else? In the unlikely case it turns out to be a typo and you have a Buttikoferi it'll happily munch the eggs and snails as it grows for you. It's very common for the eggs to be laid but as others have said nothing will come of them. Sometimes if they aren't on the ball you'll see loads in LFS tanks usually on the wood, rock or even the silicone of their systems.
