Cichlasoma Beani rules me and my dads 240. He is 14 years old and beefy. Sadly on deaths road though. He is getting less and less active and just chills but still dominant over a 8" Black Nasty in which I give him much credit for. In my 125 My Barred Midas is dominant with his big pearly white teeth lol! He is about 8".
In the tank with the arow there is my 13 inch Adonis pleco..he is the alpha in that tank.. In the 125gal mixed african tank i have green terror and mix of africans ..and black belts.. one african is the alpha in that tank.. a little guy that lived with the pacus for almost a year.. he was saved after the pacu tank exploded.. he had been living among the giants and is fearless..although not mean.he is definitly alpha.. In the 125gal with my clown knife and 4 severums..one severum is the alpha.. leads the rest and not afraid of anything.. in my 125gal all african tank the Zebra OB Blue is the alpha.. that is why i had alot of zebra blue blotch babies.. nobody messes with him And finally in the 125gal frontosa tank i have fronts and geos and electric yellows.. one big male front is the alpha.. And in a small 55gal african tank i have one blue socofoli that is absolutel relentless with chasing everyone and owning the tank..but they have all been together so long they would miss him..
Prediction for my 518 is the aro
55 None really the big male con chases the smaller male but nothing else
33 Texas Cichlid (only kinda big fish in there)
20 Long Oscar (only fish besides pleceo)
150G-Black Shark is dominant, even over a 12" Pacu and 3 9-10" oscars
100G-no real dominant theyre all placid little brackish community
75G-5" common oscar rules the other fish by far
45G-"fattie" is definatly boss of the other 2 RBPs
10G-con grow out tank with one much larger con I assume is a male, hes boss so far
The dorado and jardini typically give each other wide berth, but there have been some incidents. Typically, the dorado bullies the brycons and leaves the jardini alone. The jardini is the former king and is grudgingly accepting the dorado's emerging dominance. It deals with its loss of dominance by chasing my two dats around the tank.
