Update my newly added wild pair "Lago Curupira" from Madeira system.
It's been a while since I post last update of my F1s.
They are still doing great and become 3 and half years old.
I can see they become much more matured than before but that makes me harder to take good pics of them.

Yes, the F1 pair had their first spawn in last summer, but the eggs didn't made it so i'm waiting for my second chance.
Hope for more success for you this summer. I find it very intriguing that wild discus have a breeding season but tank raised ones will breed year round. Fascinating stuff!

My Wilds spawn in early summer, around May ~ July and my F1 did too.
Hope I can share some nice Wild F1 and F2 in again in this year!
Update my F1 pair.
The females belly is become bloated recently, just like her mother fish did before spawn.
Hope I can see full-cycle of the life of wild discus in my aquarium soon!
