Will a bala shark school with tinfoil barbs?

i gave away 2 huge tinfoils about 2 months ago for free.

i have 5 bala shark. 2 large and 3 medium. i was looking for 2x tinfoil barb medium. Hope that fine together. me 2 large bala shark is always dance when i give they food. like 5-10min take long.

I though you must later need update new tank. bala shark and tinfoil can grow to big. 32-34cm.

I don't think they would outgrow a 225 gallon. They get to about the same size as bala sharks (just a bit taller bodies).

225 is definitely big enough for tinfoils.

I have had balas and tinfoils school before. back in the 90's and early 2000's I had 2 tinfoils and 2 balas in my old 90g.

I have that mix right now in my 300 gal tank along with a pacu and large type silver dollars, the balas (4) get along real well with tinfoils (4) that I have, they dont school, (swim) together but they hang out together, they feel more secure in numbers when the giant pacu chases the silver dollars around hehehe. My tinfoils are timid compared to the other fish including the balas and because of this they are less aggresive at feeding time and get a little less food and grow less then the balas and the other fish, to sort of fix this I open many lids and feed from different points of the tanks now so that all get a more even amount.
