well as the title says will ich-x stain an acrylic fish tank i have ick that went away and came back even with the temp never getting any lower then 87 I have checked the temp with 3 different thermometers because i thought at 86 ich can not reproduce. It did show back up after 3 weeks and adding new fish but I watched them for a week in my qt no flashing or spots and now the only one who I can see spots on is a red severum who I have had from the first infection. 2 days after setting my drip system up i saw flashing and RS has spots on him again. If the temp never went down and I have a data lover so I know it never did how is this posable? I am dosing salt again but I got a refractometer to tell me the salinity i think I went light this time now I am at 1.003- 1.004 went high because the refractometer has a 1% error. I have included some pic just incase it is not ich because now I am going to use ICH-X and it says it will stain silicone and fake plants but can't find anything on acrylic tanks. I Have tried for hours to catch certain fish that look sicker to treat in my QT and I just can't the tank is to big.also Please forgive the glass I'm letting the algae grow so my tropheus will eat it Will clean after infection is gone

No he has had 5 for a couple days He is the only fish that I see them on but the other fish were flashing. I am about 1 and a half days in to the salt dose and they have Definitely slow down flashing i don't see them doing it all the time now.i will try and get some better pictures

Hard to tell. Some of it looks like broken finlets. I’d watch for now. If the spots start to multiply then I’d worry and start to treat.
