I have a trio of them in a 55G, along with two blue zebras, and HUGE yellow labs...

Wow, this is my first ever time posting in the african cichlid section. :nilly:

Red zebra, pseudotropheus demasoni, maybe others certainly not electric yellow labs though
How many and what species. Demasoni are extremely aggressive and should be kept in groups of 15 or more. Your tank is too small to house all those fish.

Also, just out of curiosity, why not yellow labs?

My Bumbles have not harmed an of my other fish, they have chased eachother, and the other fish have chased them, but I have never had a split fin, or anything serious happen. The most agressive bumble bee is the 3'' and even he hasnt done any harm to anyone other then a little bit of chasing.

My male likes to turn all black. He is about an inch bigger than all my fish and still is the least aggressive. Not too long ago I added a female that was about 1/5 his size. About a month later, she is about 4/5 his size.

In the pic, you can see my male in the bottom left and the female in the top right. This pic is a little old. They are much bigger now.

My male does that ALL the time. He swims up to the female, gets in her face, then turns pitch black and kinda gives her a stare down. the female just swims away slowly and the male go's back to his slate cave, such a weirdo, he even does it to me pleco! :nilly:

I wish I had a large enough tank for a front! My LFS have babies in for about $30 bucks, and man do I want one. Thinking about getting a Small spot tilapia to add to my tank, or maybe a Butti but I dont want a Butti to beat up my plecs.

how big is the tank? big enough for a butti not a front? and do not want to put fronts with Mbuna... they drive the fronts nuts... my bumble bee is always black... he is about 4 and 1/2 inches with out tail and still growing... king of the tank...
