hi i think my pleco laid eggs in my 55 gallon tank it had to be the pleco because he is in a tank with all of my 3 week old jaguar fry and the plecowho is by herself laid eggs i think and its not a bristle nose its a black with brown marking every were kind of pleco its not the black ones that grow big but is it poossible for this pleco to lay eggs by itself and do the eggs float because theres like 20-25 floating in my tank at the top and i know what an egg looks like and they some are grouped up so plz help me oh and should i gewt a male to breed plecos thank u

they were orange and like bubble shaped and i know what eggs look like but they are turning white because i only have 1 pleco and do u think its worth breeding them and can i make a little money off them

Its very possible it laid eggs. They normally lay their eggs in a crevice or hole where they can hide them. They usually are all stuck together kinda like a sack. You say they are yellow so im pretty sure they r pleco eggs. They will turn white and float up if they are not fertilized. Well you have a female. Ya need to get a male now. Lol

yup all the eggs are dead because i only realized because i saw a clump og eggs floating and i was like wtf are theser because i thought only bristlenose plecos were breedable but do u think i sssssshould breed plecos because i paid $10 for my pleco and it was 2 inches and its not an average type of pleco

its about 4 inches but its not the common type i paid $10 at a smaller i will post a pica when he comes out but when i bought him i had the choice between a common and this one because the fish store had 2 different kinds of plecos

Common bushy nose maybe. Females can have no bristles on their face.
