Can you afford one?

many polypterus turn pale or yellowish when exposed to white surroundings/environment just like arowanas. try keeping it 2 months in a dark tank to confirm.

it's in one of my bichir tanks living with some of my small-ish bichirs.

sorry i haven't been able to get in tank shots. the tank really does have a lot of java ferns floating around, and mokelembembe's really like to hide among the leaves. i'll post as soon as i can get a shot.
