You don't state what your other fish are, so how will anyone know if what they recommend, is safe for them or not.
Probably 98 % of species will b good with a salt/heat treatment, any rift lake African like your yellow lab, will be fine.
Some species (scaleless catfish for one from soft water) "are" sensitive to some commercial treatments.
So if you don't want to go thru this again, and 10 gallon hospital tank, usually costs less , than a bottle of meds, and should be used for all new fish.

The fish doesn't have ich or any type of infection at all. My fauklt for looking at google pics. She has a variant morph coloring that my other yellow labs do not have. White on the bottom sides. So, all good on thast front. However, appreciate all the advice if I need for future issus.
