I have many #1 faves but L204s are always the first that come to mind. Their territorial tail wagging is unlike anything I've ever seen in pleco behavior, not to mention stunning looks.

ya i just got dsl so i could watch it and my bigger pleco does that some times he swells up and starts fanning his tail and dorsal fin

Never thought of getting a video. That would be cool but I'm not sure how I'd get the fish to act naturally in the brighter lighting needed to do that
It's hard to describe in words but when any two or more of these fish get close together they gesture to each other using their tails. I have little doubt that the fish are being territorial on some level. My whiptails do this also but the L204s seem to have a more complicated language going on. Guess that's why I rated em' #1!
