Your Favorite Aquatic Turtle Food

Cola accepted the ZooMed pellets immediatley, I tried reptomin this weekend for the first time and he had a little hard time finding the tiny pellets.lol

how much do you feed your turtle? i still don't get the exact amount to feed him.
i feed him every 2 days by the way
 
how old is he...my juvies are 3-4 inches and about 8months old so they get feed once a day as much as they will eat in about 10min if i find any thing left over i remove it cause turts make their tank dirty to begin with i cant imagine extra food lying around in the tank... if they are fullgrown adults you can feed two or three times a week if you want...it really depends on the type of turt...which i forgot what type you have (sonora mud?)

if its sonora i believe that they are mostly carnivores feeding off insects, frogs, snails, other freshwater invertabrae , and on occasion some plant material may be accepted...i would feed two times a week if its an adult
 
i don't know his age but some people say he's old because his shell is all worn out. and others say he's a young adult because he's not 17.5cm yet.

Yeah he's a Sonora Mud Turtle!
just to be safe, i'll be feeding him every 2 days still.

My turtle really loves Hikari brand aquatic turtle pellets, they dont make any mess and they are perfect size for him. I love them because they have differant pellets in it for differant nutientsXD
