Given that liveaquaria is the only place that carries albino sens, I decided that I'll be ordering most of my fish from them to save on shipping/costs.
Of course, they don't have peacock eels. They do have these cute little guys though, which according to their site, attain only 7". http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=830+836+1025&pcatid=1025
This site says 18" though http://animal.discovery.com/guides/fish/freshwater/zigzageel.html (and has a completely different color eel pictured in my opinion)
This site says over a foot
http://www.petsgallery.info/607/fish/Eel - Zig Zag Yellow Tail.html
None of the other zig zag eels look like live aquarias, are they not what they say to be, or do their colors just drastically change?
Any advice/information on them would be appreciated.
(My tank is 75 gallons, and will have a black background, PFS, driftwood and some smooth rocks, lots of easy care plants like anubias, bolbitis, subwassertang, spread apart moss balls, water lettuce, etc. Most importantly, with a built in sump underneath, it is COMPLETELY covered!
Tankmates will be 1 senegal bichir, 1 albino bichir, and that's all I have for sure, although I am considering african butterfly fish, turquoise rainbows, congo tetras, elephant nose, brown ghost knife, leopard ctenopoma, ropefish, not all of course)
