Anyone know of any conservation organizations working to preserve Madagascar's waterways so that the fish aren't endangered / extinct in the first place?

They have a National Environmental Protection Plan in place. As to how much effect this is having I don't know. Will read up more on it later.

wow so sad. these are truly a beautiful fish . I would love to have 10 of them ! I love the ugly fish !
