I got 2 New wolf fish. One red, one mal. Both in seperate tanks.... And both of them arent eating. I have rosey minnows swimming around in the Red wolf fish, and 2 feeder golds in the Mal's. I had gotten them wednesday... Water is 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 5-10 ish in nitrate... am i just being paranoid because of a recent big loss of fish? or is there really something wrong?

Just wait. Still stressed and getting used to their new environment likely. Just keep the room their in with the lights off. Make sure they got some place to hide. Eventually the rosy reds will disappear.

To be fair they are not the most active fish. Try turning the lights out and seeing if they become mobile as mine sits like a log all day but comes out for a cruise at night.

my mala ate the food that I put in the tank to distract my dats when I put them in but I have had others that have taken ages to eat

Redead83 is right about the earthworms. Might not be another choice to try if really worried about not eating.

I have always hand fed my wolves and they have always been less aggressive towards my hands in the tank while cleaning and such. I can even handle them as long as I don't just grab them. Mine also started small between 2-4 inches and now uploadfromtaptalk1415472294450.jpguploadfromtaptalk1415472306529.jpguploadfromtaptalk1415472328567.jpg
