I even like Sunsun. I've had my Sunsun 302 going for 3yrs, no problems. For HOBs, I'd use nothing but AC. A pair of AC110s and a canister would be great on your 125g.

If money is a factor, I'd highly recommend Sunsun canisters. For a 125gal, I'd go with two 304B. This model is big and can hold a ton of bio media. The best part is that 2 of these units with cost you less than $180 shipped. Between a friend and I, we have 6 of these units going on 3 years....no issues.

The top of the lid is a stupid design on the xp4 if you have an o-ring leak on the inlet or outlet it fills the lid with water. Most times you take the lid apart and clean the water out and put new orings on and it's good to go. I have done this twice in years

any time you open your canister filters, regardless of make, the O-rings need to be lubed or they will dry out and leak.

I had a C-360 and in two years I had to replace the seals and had the prime button stick on it. I'd get the Sunsun that's basically the same design for half the money before I bought another Marineland C series.
