Any idea what kind of gar this is, I thought it was a Florida but it’s grown over 6 inches since I got him literally 2 months ago. Also he still doesn’t have any spots on his head, could he be a gator?

Yah most ppl call Florida gars, spotted gars. Even though they aren’t the same thing. How much did you buy yours for

Yah. You paid the price for a Florida gar. True spotted gars (TSG) could possibly cost 20 to 30 times more than a Florida gar. Both look exactly the same. Only difference is gill plating if I’m not mistaken.
